Asia Park in Haarlem has recently been published by the Dutch Landscape Journal, Blauwe Kamer. The design was described as a badly needed quality impulse for the district. Its voluptuous lines and curving routes were considered a ‘style break’ from the post war modern park design. Residents described it as a fresh ‘impulse’ for the area, ‘chique’ and a ‘big improvement’. The park was developed in collaboration with the Municipality of Haarlem and residents of Schalkwijk.
